In Philly again. Waiting for the Megabus. Stoked to arrive in Boston at 6 in the morning. Recording this weekend. Stoked. These songs will be on a 7 inch. I’m also recording some covers.

Oh, fuck yeah.

“It’s been a hellish fight to not think about you all the time. Sitting around waiting for your call.”

I just want this week to be over. I get to record and when I return home things will finally be back to normal.

Hello people,

Currently in Philly waiting for my bus to Boston. From there I will go to Lowell, MA and then to Keene, New Hampshire for Get Better Fest. It is going to be awesome! Hope to see some of you there.

Also, my new EP is coming along very well. I’m going back to Lowell, MA at the end of the month to record it. It’s called, “I Just Want To Play In Living Rooms.”

Stoked.

Best song ever.

I finished a new song today. Three more are in the works for the Scrap Kids 7 inch. I’m extremely stoked on them.

Prepare to get sad.

… But now that I’m awake, I’d rather take a drink and walk down to the lake and beg the sky for lightning bolts. I can’t waste my time without wasting all your time.

News - 3/11/12

Hello everyone,

I have not posted on here since I got back from tour. Mainly due to the lack of internet access at my house.

But to start off, tour was amazing. This Scrap Kids tour was the best tour I had ever been on. I got to see my best friends all over the east coast. I also had the honor of sharing the stage and floor spaces with many amazing bands, musicians, and artists that blow me out of the water in more ways that just one. All of them there with good intentions, open hearts, modesty, and sincerity. Often times I ask myself, “why am I still involved in this whole punk thing anyway?” All of the people I had met on the road were the reminder that I needed, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

King Rat, Mat, and Christina, I couldn’t thank you guys enough. I love all of you, and I hope that you continue to bare with me on any other journey that I embark on.

But now back to reality, I am home. Usually there is a sense of excitement coming home from tour. It can be just as rewarding as hitting the road. I was excited to come home. For multiple reasons. All of the people that I love, free food, and a guaranteed place to sleep every night. But now, I am just anxious to leave again. I am never content here in this shithole town. There is absolutely nothing for me here. I have to travel at least 45 minutes west to hang out with my friends. I don’t want to be destined to have the same fate as every other waste here.

I don’t usually like to get personal on here, but I miss a lot of things, and a lot of people. Things have progressively gotten worse. Everyone has already left, and the few people that I care about immensely who are semi close can’t even see me just due to shitty circumstances. I’m hoping that all of this works itself out these next few weeks. It really does suck, but it is at least giving me the push and inspiration I need to write more songs. I’ve been in this limbo, and it’s about time to break out.

So with that being said, I have a few things coming up. The Hospital Blues are in the process of finishing up songs for a 7”. Lyrics are still a work in progress, but musically I’ve extremely happy with the songs. We hope to have this out by the end of summer. We also are planning to do extensive touring this summer.

And as for the future of Scrap Kids, I’m in the process of writing a new EP. It’s going to be a 7” released through GoxRecords. The title is, “I Just Want To Play In Living Rooms.” I am also doing a split with King Rat’s new band, HEXE. Hopefully both releases will be out by at least mid summer.

I just got added on to Get Better Fest in Keene, New Hampshire next month! It’s the first weekend of April. I am playing that friday with Inspector 34, Jeff Rowe, For The Kid In The Back, and TRAGWAG.

I am also embarking on a full US tour in September. If you could throw any contacts my way that would rule!

Lots of pros. Lots of cons. Very unhappy with my homelife, but I am hoping it will resolve itself.

Until then, I will be waiting for things to get better. Writing songs in my bedroom. Doing what I do best.

You know where to find me.

Over and out.

Well, tomorrow is the last day of tour. We’re playing in Long Island with my friend Alex and my friend Chris. It went by too fast. Way too fast.

I’m going to write an entire summary of the tour which I hope to post within the next few days. It’s been quite the experience and I’ve met some amazing people. It went so well and I couldn’t be happier.

Lots of good things are in store for Scrap Kids in the future. Lots of good things.

Stay tuned.

Well, currently I’m in South Florida. Going to Publix and the beach before we make our way back up to play with the dudes in Gnarly Whales. It feels really good to be back.

I would like to take the time to thank Christina for everything that she has done for us. Today is her last day with us and she rules. I hope that she comes out with us again in the future.

Also, I crashed a Man Overboard show last night.

Word.
